“We attended Brian’s Buteyko Course for kids in July 2017. Our daughter had a wheezing cough since February 2017, that steroids and antibiotics could not shake. It was impacting daily life and her sleep. Very exhausting and frustrating that she couldn’t stop coughing. “I am happy to tell you that I have been doing the nose breathing all the time. Walking the dog was interesting this morning, I have a nasty steep hill to climb that always has left me totally out of breath, but today, although it was a struggle still to climb, I was surprised that I managed to get to the top with only one stop. I am very happy though with the progress so far, and am enjoying the challenge.
I came all the way home from Cork Airport to my house nose breathing, and normally I am very tired by the end of the journey, but I was very awake and did a few jobs until twelve midnight. That has never happened before, I am always shattered.

“I am doing very well. Halved my medication for over a month now. Never take my Ventolin during the day now. Used to grab it quite often, so what a result!! My walking is getting faster, still have to go slow uphill, but make it without too much puff, and always with my mouth closed. I just stand on steep hills until I breath normally, instead of taking medication. Breathing is great, I am still so very excited about my new found way of taking air!! “Brian and I had several -rather intensive sessions where he taught me all about Buteko breathing and gave me exercises to do while he observed my breathing habits. I say intensive because for me i had been breathing too heavily for a long time and to relearn how to breath less, was not easy.
Brian has the utmost patience for teaching and guiding. He always gave straightforward encouragement and tips on how to improve or feel at ease with the new breathing. I felt I progressed fast and my breathing changed for the better, all from a few sessions. Not only because I wanted the change, but Brian is super friendly, calm and open hearted, making it comfortable to explore the healing and changes needed. “I have been using this method of breathing for a year now and do most of my training using nose breathing. It was difficult to start with but now it is 2nd nature.
